Delete your Pip Prep account
Last updated 2026-09-29. Pip Prep is run by Yiu Ming Cheung, a sole trader trading as Snaplex Agentic (ABN 16 792 448 795), in Australia. This page is for parents and carers who hold a Pip Prep account.
From inside the app (about a minute)
- Open Pip Prep, tap For grown-ups and answer the grown-up question.
- Open Settings, then tap your account (the row with your email).
- Tap Delete account, answer the grown-up question again, read what goes, and confirm. The account is deleted straight away.
The same steps work in the web version at app.pipprep.com.au, so you do not need the app installed.
If you pay through Google Play, the delete screen says so and, on Android, shows Manage subscription in Google Play. Deleting the account does not cancel your Google Play subscription, so cancel it there first (or in Google Play › Subscriptions on your Android device), or it keeps renewing.
By email
Write to pip@pipprep.com.au from the email address on the account. We will delete it within 7 days and reply when it is done.
What is deleted
- Your email address and every sign-in code and sign-in token.
- Every child profile (nickname and year level) on the account.
- Cloud saves and their history for every child on the account.
- Device pairings. Paired devices are signed out at once.
- Our record of your Google Play purchase and the account identifier we gave Google for it.
- The daily counters and request counts kept for your family, and anything else stored with the account.
What is not deleted, and why
- Progress already on a device. Pip's growth and the child's answers stored on that phone or tablet stay there until you reset progress or remove the app. They are no longer tied to an account.
- Reports sent with "Report this answer". They are about what Pip said, so they stay, but without your family or child on them. Their words are erased 12 months after the report was sent; after that only a count remains.
- Your Google Play subscription. Google runs it, not us. Deleting the account does not cancel it with Google Play; cancel it as described above.
- Crash reports and error summaries. They are set up to leave out email addresses, and any random account number in them no longer leads to anyone.
- Request counts by internet address. These are deleted within 7 days anyway.
Everything else about how we handle data is in the privacy policy.
